• Commercial Division 5 

     

           WorkSafe Victoria requirement for all workplaces, 

          where asbestos materials are present, conducted every 5 years.   

       

• Commercial Division 6 

     

         WorkSafe Victoria requirement for all demolition and renovation

          projects, using destructive testing to ascertain the presence of 

          asbestos containing materials, prior to any potential disturbance.

• Residential Division 6 Asbestos 

     

         WorkSafe Victoria requirement for home demolition/renovations

         conducted by a builder/contractor.

 

• Asbestos Management Plans  

                

• Air-Monitoring

      Para-occupational (fixed control) monitoring for respirable asbestos fibres in 

         the air to assist in assessing exposure and the effectiveness of control measures.                This is generally undertaken when asbestos containing materials are being removed.​

• Smoke Testing                                                                                                           

          Testing integrity of enclosures, prior to friable asbestos removal.

• Visual Clearance Inspections

       Site inspection after the removal of asbestos materials, prior to resumption of

         renovation, or demolition works. (mandatory for removals >10msq) 

​

• Asbestos Sampling

      Sampling of suspected asbestos containing materials sent to NATA Accredited

         laboratories for analysis.
